Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2024  •  Last Updated: March 20, 2025

Your trust is essential to how we operate. We collect only the information we need to deliver the Services, keep accounts secure, and support your campaigns. We avoid surprise uses of data, we explain the choices available to you, and we limit sharing to vendors who help us run a reliable, compliant service. This page describes the data we handle and the safeguards we use to protect it.

1) Scope

This Policy applies when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, or use our onboarding and account‑support Services for third‑party advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google. It covers information you provide directly, data we collect automatically through basic analytics, and limited details we receive from vendors who help with verification, fraud prevention, or troubleshooting authorized platform connections.

2) Information we collect

We may collect contact details (name, email, phone, company), billing information (address, tax/VAT), verification materials (government or business documents required for KYC/AML), platform identifiers (ad account IDs, pixels, BM/Business Center IDs), and the content of your messages with our team. Automatically, we log IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referring URLs, and cookie data used for session management and to understand aggregate usage patterns.

3) How we use information

We use data to deliver the Services you request; verify identity and permissions; configure or troubleshoot platform access you authorize; communicate about onboarding steps, invoices, and support updates; detect and prevent fraud or policy abuse; meet legal and tax obligations; and improve reliability and user experience. With your consent, we may send occasional product or service updates—you can opt out at any time and we will honor your choice promptly.

4) Lawful bases (EEA/UK where applicable)

Where data‑protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, support quality, and product improvement), legal obligations (record‑keeping and compliance), and consent (for specific marketing communications or optional cookies where required).

5) Sharing of information

We share information with service providers that operate our infrastructure (hosting, payments, analytics, verification, security) under agreements that limit their use of your data. We may interact with advertising platforms only as you authorize—for example, to request permissions, connect assets, or open support tickets. We may disclose information to authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity. We do not sell personal information.

6) International transfers

Data may be processed in countries different from yours. When transfers are required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or comparable mechanisms, and we expect our vendors to maintain robust technical and organizational security measures that align with industry practice.

7) Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Typical retention periods include: billing and accounting records for seven (7) years or as required by tax law; verification records for two (2) to seven (7) years depending on legal requirements; and support logs and basic analytics for up to twenty‑four (24) months, after which they may be aggregated or anonymized.

8) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Examples include least‑privilege access, encrypted transport, and regular process reviews. No method is perfect, so we encourage you to keep credentials secure, use strong passwords, and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your accounts.

9) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise your rights, email hello@advertisement.help. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.

10) Cookies & tracking

We use first‑party cookies and similar technologies to keep sessions secure, remember preferences, and compile basic analytics about site usage. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. If you disable certain cookies, some features may operate with reduced functionality, but the core experience should remain usable.

12) Children’s privacy

Our Services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children under sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly and take steps to prevent unintentional collection going forward.

13) Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements in our security practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide a brief site notice. Your continued use of the Services after the update means you agree to the revised Policy.
